On March 14, 2025, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki hosted a training day dedicated to the educational material developed within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme DIALOGOS: Communication in Interpreting and Translation in Public Services, focusing on Terminology.
The event brought together graduate students from the Master’s Programme in Translation and Interpreting, alongside interpreters and translators working in public services for Languages of Lesser Diffusion (LLD).
Its aim was to deepen participants’ understanding of the profession by highlighting terminology-related challenges in Public Service Interpreting and Translation (PSIT).
The session included an analysis of key terminology issues and introduced tools and techniques for addressing terminology problems in practice.
